You Only Live Twice is a fun time, but yet theres one to many things holding it back from greatness. Connery is back once again, but by the time they started making the film he got kind of bored being 007 and it shows. Even with that said a bored Connery is still better than Roger Moore. The plot is out of this world, totally unbelieveable, however that doesn't mean its bad. Blofeld is back once again doing what he does best, and this time around you see his face. Some say it was kind of a dissapointment, but i beg to differ. Donald Pleasence played Blofeld pretty good considering the little he had to work with. The bond girl is not all that great and the gagets are rarely used. Its still a fun movie with good moments, but when Connery is bored, the screenplay is a mess and mistakes are made. Its one of Connery's worst, which is still pretty good.

You only live twice was a good Bond Movie. I like the part where the poor cat is freaking out on Blofeld's arm while he's talking to James Bond. As always this movie has a very cool special affect and I like the action in the movie. I give it four...

Another great Bond film with Sean Connery as the star. This is the film where we finally see Blofeld in his full self, a short man with a scar on his face. Overall, this has plenty of action and is just what you expect and would want from a Bond...

Another great Bond film with Sean Connery as the star. This is the film where we finally see Blofeld in his full self, a short man with a scar on his face. Overall, this has plenty of action and is just what you expect and would want from a Bond movie. There is a continuity problem, probably because of Sean's request. Bond shave's his chest to look Japanese, yet in the last scene, he has as much hair as ever.

Bond goes to Japan! A fun film. Connery seems less enthusiastic this time around, but he still suffices as Bond, James Bond. Who can ever forget finally seeing Blofeld's big, bald, scarred face? Donald Pleasance is the man!

"You Only Live Twice" is yet another very cool Sean Connery, Bond flick. The beginning is quite different than other Bond films as we are led to believe that Bond dies before the credits. However, this was just a clever ploy by MI-6 to change Bond's appearance so that he could go undetected for a short while. A quick tidbit, this is the only Bond film where we don't see Bond driving.

You Only Live Twice is another great James Bond movie. Great story, great effects, and lots of action.

You Only Live Twice is another great James Bond movie. Great story, great effects, and lots of action.

SPECTRE has returned, again, and plans to start another world war by hijacking space astronauts and framing governments between themselves. 007 must go to Japan to find a lead on the situation and meets exotic new Bond girls, unconventional allies, and perhaps his most deadly enemy in all the series: SPECTRE's #1. Along with the main theme, the whole movie is brilliant. It consolidated Sean Connery as one of the best Bonds and proved 007 was just getting started.
