World War Two ended with The US and USSR battling to take over Germany, for what the Axis caused. It was a battle for dominance. During the following years, Russia formed an alliance to rival with NATO forces as the war of supplies started, thus creating the Iron Curtain to repel NATO advances. Conflicts began after that confrontation and so the tension between these two nations against one of another. Both sides started to produce progaganda prograging against each other. Further Conflicts rose as the Soviet Union started production in Nuclear warheads and war efforts. NATO and the US arises to challenge its aggressors by building nuclear warheads funding by the war effort. Tensions expand and contract as two nations battled for superioty. New Technologies arises as Satellies, Radars, and Spaceships developed as both sides obtained it. The Soviet Union depises the US, for acknowleding that the first astronaut is Louie Armstrong and also that "big guy attitude" that US has compared to the Soviet Union. During World War II, which depise is turn into friendship but it didn't last until the end, when each other is trying to dominate each other. Offically called the Cold War or nearly as been. But what if the Cold War really existed and the USSR and The US are at war in nuclear warfare? Rocky 4 depicts much of a vision that what the Cold War has convere.
Rocky 4, another installment to the best movie franchise, awarded with "Best Picture" in each perspective movies. At the end of Rocky 3, we know that Rocky has retired or wanted to, after what the cause of the fight that made sacrifaces and left a deep emotional scene to the viewers to witness. As much as each Rocky movie telling the audience is that, its not about winning and being victorious, its about doing your best and keep trying, even though you lost, you're a winner at heart, and you have proved it to the opponent and the audience. No such movie out there is as emotional as inspiration as this one, and its worthly as it could be.
This is the last Rocky movie directed by Syvlester Stallone (with the exception of Rocky Balboa), and I feel that Stallone gave out his heart out to make these last two movies as best as possible. Everything from the cinematrography to the acting is just fanastic and brilliant. Stallone feels for this movie as much of he feels for his character. After the sad emotional movie that is Rocky 3, Stallone giving Apollo Creed, a favour to have a re-rematch. It is Paulie's birthday as they celebrate, Rocky celebrate that pre 9th year aniversity with each other. Enter Ivan, a heavy-weight boxer from USSR who arrived to the US to faced Rocky in a Exhibition match, but the true meaning is that they want to crush the champions of America to show that the Soviet Union means business. When Apollo saw this on TV, he got upset and tells Rocky that he could take his place and beat this new rival. Adrien then opposes saying that "how long can you could the heat." Rocky then preaches Apollo to reconsider, but Apollo is too proud on his honor and confident. When the Exhibition match starts, Apollo's introduction is what threw Ivan over, revealing that the US is the place. Angered by the torment that Apollo is contributing, Ivan take all his rage and killed Apollo. Saddened by the death of Creed, Rocky agrees to fight Ivan and agrees that the fight with take place in Mother Russia. The tragic death of Creed, shaped Rocky differently. Rocky overthrew his emotions and becomes emotionless. The confrontation between Rocky and Adrien reveals that fame has overthrew them over and recovering it will take a long time. Fame, and Glory is not the things to make people victorious but to ruined them, this movie depicts that only the compassion and the heart can stand the test of fate. When Rocky and his crew arrives in the USSR, things are abit too cold(no pun intended). A man assigned Rocky equipment and a deserted house as he requested, and offical sha'perams(?) to follow Rocky whereever he goes.
The arrival of Ivan in America is quite like the pre-Cold War, when Stalin and Roosevelt has or tries to have a peaceful negogation with each other. The Exhibition match when Apollo enters depicts much progangada as both sides opposed, so as when Rocky enters the arena to face Ivan, progangada is also in effect. As I predicted, as the movie and to history translation, while its not accurate, its as accurate as it could be. During the end of World War II and the commencement of pre-Cold War, it began with negogations, siding whom and getting how much land as greed. The first appearance Ivan's capability is resembles the first nuclear warhead that the Russia built or warheads built in this cunning contest. The montages of Rocky and Ivan depicts of the production of nuclear warheads, satallies and advancement technology as they progress forward as hard it could be, yet no surrender pushing to their own extent. Aside from the Cold War similarites, they are also some other history that might in Ivan's side. Ivan is training to be genetically stronger, scientist advercating him with steriods, testing how strong he could be. Its like much of a experiment than training him. During the early to mid 19th century, Russia or the USSR had been testing out speciments, constructing new technolgies and residing them to muscle power as the symbol of the Soviet Union, Ivan depicts as one of them. And to yet it at least, he doesn't feel any remorse that the scientist is treating like a experiment. He just want to show that the Americans are puny, and weak as the nation. While Rocky resides in the hidden power that all of his revenge of his friend, his trainer and his unwillingly power to train at heart.
Beginning from Rocky 3, as well as putting a theme to it, Rocky 4 has the most suitable music ever, from the "Burning Heart" sung by "The Survivors". This song depicts the reason of my introduction and history and also that following scene. The Conflict between the US and the USSR. The Montage Training Scene was a powerful scene, with two combatants each other training as hard as they can. This grateful scene depicts the production and the competition of Nuclear Warheads, both the US and the Soviet Union. Amasssing production as quickly as possible to have a final confrontation. This also is after when Adrien surprisely arrives out of nowhere, the relationship between Rocky and Adrien can never be broken. Even after the disagreement, Adrien is always there with Rocky and cheering him on. The song played in the montage, "Hearts Desire" reminds me of a opening song with an anime called Eyeshield 21, its not the same as Rocky series but its could be possiblely like it. To say it as best, "Hearts Desire" is one of the powerful songs in the Rocky series. Its inspiration to Rocky and Ivan as it could be to you. When the match between Ivan and Rocky begins, like in The US Apollo match everyone is booing the opposing team(although the US one seemed more cheerful than the Russian one) and Rocky is intended to to turn that around. The fight is abit similar to the other ones before, seeing how Rocky gets punched alot but this time its getting punched or getting dodge from a punch from Ivan's reflexes. Somehow it got turned around in the round 12 when suddenly a few people started to cheer on Rocky and then in the end everyone cheers on Rocky. This is also a similarity to after the Cold War, or perhaps in that time of year, a vision of the aftermath of the real Cold War that is happening back then. When the auditioning turned and cheer Rocky, it feels like the vision of the defeat or the destruction of the Soviet Union, reforming a new political turnoil and wiping Commusion from Russia. This is yet of a vision that nobody saw in this movie or probably saw, as the vision of Russia being liberated from USSR. Even the premier is clapping at the end showing that the Soviet Union is no more, a new age has dawned...
Overall, Rocky 4 is my personal achievement to the Rocky franchise, at its best. Everything from the emotion, the action, the montages and including one, no two songs, sung by "The Survivors" is just the best deal ever yet. You see at the end, Ivan released all his anger but to cluminess and Rocky produced all the cluminess in the first match in transferred it to Ivan. Its just amazing how captivulating Rocky 4 is and how interesting the similarites or the possible similarites that I have explained. It remains one of the best Rocky movies in my heart but not the most emotional but to say it at least the intriguing part of this franchise. As I enjoyed in a popcorn movie.
