Now this will probably surprise you and it certainly surprised me, but I actually quite liked this film. I enjoyed it more than any other 'Friday the 13th' film to date. It wasn't just a cash-grab sequel, it was actually a reasonably well-made, well-acted and interesting film with quite good special effects. I don't know if I will buy it as I don't think it's good enough for that, but if you are ever going to see a 'Friday the 13th' sequel this is probably the first one to see if you're looking for something other than cheap silly trash with gratuitous violence and terrible acting.

It's basically 'Friday the 13th - Carrie vs. Jason' as the main character is a telekinetic teenage girl and I found the premise rather interesting. Overall, nothing great, but it was an enjoyable film and if they made more sequels like this I wouldn't call the franchise utterly worthless.

This is possibly my third favorite friday the 13th film, next to the final chapter and the original. I just really love this one! This actually had a good plot, and dispite what others say it did have a decent script. Of course the kills were top...

I honestly can't stop watching this one. I'd say rent this installment first before you buy it.

This is the one I liked most until Jason X came around (I just thought it was a great half parody of itself), this is the first Friday film that's a bit different. That's mostly because of the physic hero of this one is the first to actually stand up toe to toe with Jason for the most part until in the Cyborg of Jason X

There is a story that once upon a time there was hopes that this would have been the long hoped for Freddy and Jason film, and if this is even half the script that was going to be used, it would have been all wrong.

Overall standard stuff though the added conflict of physic and her therapist puts more actual story into this one that the Friday has missed in a long time

Maybe it's because I haven't watched a movie like this in a long time or something else, but I really enjoyed watching this slasher movie. Jason is brought back to the living by a telekinetic girl who came back to Crystal Lake to get over her father's death. The movie is really interesting. OK, so maybe all the other characters are stereotypical, but I really didn't care while watching this movie. It was entertaining and there were a few tense moments which makes this movie the third best Friday the 13th (first one is the 4th movie; second one was the original).
