Patrick Channing, a young man born of incest and horribly abused as a child, turns to Satan for comfort and power. He becomes a serial killer in service to the Dark Lord and has to be stopped. Enter Detective Russell Logan, L.A.P.D's finest and resident expert on catching killers of Channing's ilk. Logan has no luck until Tess Seton, a psychic, comes to his aid. Logan and Seton pursue Channing to the grave and beyond. Channing has been rewarded Satan's "First Power", but Logan and Seton have a few tricks of their own!
