One of the best documentaries I have ever seen.


This film first aired as a PBS special in the United States. It follows the daily lives of Hasidic Jews in New York. They follow the letter of religious law, yet also allow their kids to take part in baseball, hockey and trick-or-treating. We get to hear from people in all walks of life, from a butcher to a housewife and many more. Some may look at this community as different. They see themselves as the most authentic representatives of the will of God. Watch the movie and decide for yourself.
