In a sleepy little town called Two Rivers, Mississippi, a guitar playing drifter named Val arrives and takes a job as a store clerk. His brooding good looks attracts not only the local bad girl, but also the shopkeeper's exotic wife, Lady. Lady is out for revenge against the man who burned down her father's vineyard and falls in love with the drifter.
