Robert Downey Jr. is always great on screen but that doesn't always mean that he picks the best movies. The film is about a writer who suffers from a skin/muscle disease and, during his psychological and physical recovery, writes/narrates a novel. He deals with the blurring of his two realities and with his meandering wife. The most interesting part of the film comes when the two worlds meet and he realizes just how much of his childhood and adult life are in his literature. It really is an interesting film just not my favorite and definitely not worthy of a rewatch.
