The first thing you will notice about this movie is that cast. This is a big time comedic cast. The second thing you will notice after watching this movie is that its not very funny considering the cast. Zahn plays a guy who has a wilderness show that is about to be cast. He is given 2 weeks before the show is going to be canceled. So with his zany crew they go on a trip to try to find bigfoot with a map they are trying to buy. Of course they have no money to buy this map. They go on the trip in a forest that looks a lot like universal studios. The acting in this movie is average and the comedy really is not there. More then anything its pretty forced some of the scenes. Not to say that some of the comdey is not funny because it is but its more hit and miss. Actually its pretty more miss then hit. I would say to pass this movie unless you are bored and want to take a chance. Some people will find this movie hilarious and some will not its very hit or miss here.

(the ones that make you twitch for hours after you see it! lol) Justin Long was hilarious as the stoner that tattoos eyeballs on his eyelids only to be gone in the next scene. Not for the youngsters.. some embarressing stuff in there.

  Strange Wilderness has three bad comic ideas for every good joke, and it botches many of those, too, thanks to slack comic timing and a nonexistent grasp of storytelling basics. But just when the flop-sweat stench is about to become unbearable, Strange Wilderness stumbles upon an uproarious, laugh-out moment, and suddenly it's tolerable again for another few minutes.

  What rankles isn't the gross-out humor or the verbal non sequiturs, which are expected, even welcome, in this sort of movie. It's the smug sense of entitlement -- that of intoxicated dweebs tittering endlessly and obnoxiously at their own supposed cleverness. "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" is the gold standard in this genre. Strange Wilderness is a counterfeit bill.
