Analyze This was a different kind of mafia movie, which has become like a genre itself. It was realy funny at times and a big succes. Then of cource they just had to make a sequel. Why can´t they let movies be what they are. Analyze That is not a bad movie, but it´s not a very good movie either. It´s not as funny as the first. The directing is not good here, and the writing is well, pretty good.

Mafia movies have always been one of the most intriguing movies out there, top it with comedy ends up to be good but not great. The previous sequel, Analyze This seemed to quite better than its sequel, Analyze That with more mature and inmature humour that will entertain the family. Analyze That returns to Paul Vitti (Robert DeNiro) who is locked up in prison, after the ending of Analyze This. After an assassination attempt and call to Dr. Ben (Billy Crystal),Paul became abit crazy singing "I feel pretty" and his loony behavior, questioning the FBI. Now the FBI offers Dr. Ben(Crystal), custody of Paul Vitti who faked his lonny behavior to get out of prison. Paul trusted psychotherapist, Dr Ben is "grieving" from his father's death, taking amounts of pills. But things got wrong when another assassination attempt was target on Paul(Robert DeNiro). Dr. Ben asked Paul do to a job but he just do it, then he find a job in being a director. After the discussion of his mafia members, they planned to steal a millions worth and hijacked the truck carring it. Robert DeNiro's character seemed to be quiet the same as before, which is good, making us laugh alot. Billy Crystal's character changed abit and he is "grieving" after his death of his father. Overall, Analyze That is just a mediocre film, it doesn't really good and the acting is just fair. The ending was just awkward and theres only parts of the movie that are funny. Fans wanting to watch this movie shouldn't. Should steer clear of this one. This is not a recommended purchase. 6.3/10

This is just a basic sequel but still not as good as the 1st still a very funny movie. the story is still great and it is great two see them back so i give the movie a rating of 3 1/2 stars. THE END.

Another sequel and another movie that doesn't quite capture the humor and magic of the first. It had some funny moments, but it just didn't live up to the hype. Also, I expected more from this ensemble cast of great actors.
