Reloaded didn't do it for me as much as Revolutions does. Ok so maybe I am a sucker for all those special effects and the fact characters are shoved into immediate peril with no obvious escape. Reloaded had too much kung-fu and speaking in it for me. In this we get the RPUs, speeding ships being attacked by sentinels, and a venture out into the machine city where we see the climax between Smith and Neo. Its all very epic, viewing wise. The plot carried on from its usual odd self, especially with the 'programs' which kinda do my head in, especially when they're shown in human form. Revolutions is a step up just about compared to Reloaded for me. There's much more of a variation in action and location, and you see the stories of others unfolding as well as Neo and Morpheus. A very enjoyable watch.

And the story was not that good at the end. But this was an awesome movie. The battle scenes between the squid machines and humans was good, but not as GREAT as the last fight. I kept telling to myself that I dont want to see all these parts. I wanted to see the last fight between Neo and Smith. Sad that it was of only 10 t0 15 minutes. They should have lengthened the fight a bit. Maybe a long fight of 20 minutes would be have been better. But I am not saying I didnt like the movie, it was great!

Not so great. I loved the first two, they were great films, but this one just bombed in every aspect. The fight scenes were done poorly, especially the final Neo VS Smith fight. The story was explained better then the second but still hard to understand. Well, not every aspect. The special effects looked great, and they tried to mix up the fighting scenes by showing the Machines VS Humans, but that was not entertaining enough.

Overall this film was a huge dissapointment. To bad to.

I waited for years for the ending to the Matrix trilogy following the outstanding, "The Matrix," and when I first saw this, I was a tad disappointed. I mean, the story was slow and the action sequences were recycled. But, the more I watch this and "Reloaded," the more I like them both. The stories were not actually that slow and the action was terrific. I do have to say that the movie requires multiple viewings to really get the true appreciation out of it. The ending was certainly acceptable, but there is still confusion.
