Spartacus is one of the greatest historical epics of all time. Featuring great performances from all the cast (especially Lawrence Olivier), top-notch direction from Stanley Kubrick and a well-written script from blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo, Spartacus is a memorable epic that leaves you satisfied that you've spent the last 3 hours well. The battle scenes are awesome (the almost ant-like movements of the Roman Legions in the final battle is intimidating) and the ending is unforgettable.
