Larry Abbot has the number one radio show with his fiancee Vickie Pearle, but after their engagement, the storm noises of his radio show make Larry afraid, reminding him of memories he's tried to keep repressed. On his way to his Aunt Kate's castle for the wedding, Larry's uncle, Dr. Paul Abbot, uses the opportunity to try and scare Larry to death in order to cure him of his fears. But at Kate's home with friends and family, such as Larry's cousin Charlie and uncle Francis, Kate announces that one of the Abbot men is a werewolf and is trying to kill her. The "werewolf" is actually an Abbot in a mask, who has just learned that Kate has changed her will to give her money only to Larry when she dies instead of dividing it up to the surviving members of the family, and the killer will do anything to make sure that Larry doesn't live to collect a cent of his future inheritance...
