Such a good film! It's a true classic. It's very cheesy, but it also has a lot of heart. I also really like the main characters of Daniel and Mr. Miyagi - there aren't heroes like them in movies today.

A classic movie. The Karate Kid is great, with a great story, acting and plot. The training scenes, the fights, everything is great and verry well done. Johnn G Avildsen (The director of the first Rocky movie) makes a great job with this masterpiece.

Although the story of the sporting underdog has definately been done better on more than one occasion, you still can't help but cheer at the determination of Ralph Macchio's good natured idiot teen to become victorious over the bullying rival...
