this movie was great the whole samuari thing was very edgy and the action scenes were brutel and bloody just the way I like them the end fight is so cool they just hack everyone to pieces with that cool sword

A great movie one of Terantino's best he brought back the 70's style kong-fu film I loved it and I highly recomend it.

This film is outstanding.
It's made so professionally even though it got a bit gruesome.
Uma is great in this movie. Just as good, if not better than Pulp Fiction. I love it.

Not Quentins best but definitely a great flick. Great cast and plot, wasn't in love with the anime though.

This is definately Uma Thurman's best role since she played Mia Wallace.

The action sequences were excellent, the thin layer of black comedy throughout the film worked...

This is definately Uma Thurman's best role since she played Mia Wallace.

The action sequences were excellent, the thin layer of black comedy throughout the film worked great, the soundtrack fitted the film well, and the mix of film styles was inspiring.

Recommended for all action and Quentin Tarantino fans.

The fourth film (well, fifth) by Quentin Tarantino, and to be honest it's a bit disapointing. I'll get this straight at the start, THE ANIME SECTION WAS POINTLESS. Not that I don't like anime,(spirited away is a personal favourite) but it was just totally out of place. Okay so the whole thing is Tarantino all over, scrambled chronology, with a decent helping of violence... but the script. Oops. That is most definitely not Tarantino. Okay so his 'make the characters real' treatment wouldnt work here, but something remeniscent of the serious parts from pulp fiction and reservoir dogs would be nice. but it's not all bad. The action is brilliantly done, and the story is actually really imaginative. The plotline is about a woman who we know only as 'The Bride' whose wedding is destroyed by a bunch of assassins. In true Tarantino fashion, we don't get to see the wedding (not unlike the 'job' in reservoir dogs). All in all it's a half decent film, but im not really a big fan.

Also Darryl Hannah, Chiaki Kuriyama, David Carradine and Michael Madsen were brilliant in the movie. The black and white scenes in the movie were very effective and the cartoon sequences were awesome. O, and the movie has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. Quinton Tarantino did a terrific job. A must see.
