I don't read any of the books,but I still like the story.This movie is made by Chris Colmbus which I like his movies and they picked a great cast for all of the movies.It was so cool.

This movie is so great it is the start of a great movie series but the only thing wrong in it is that in some parts of the movie there are some boring parts in it.

As i said in another review, I'm barely a Harry potter fan, I'm very close to hating the whole franchise. But this movie is very well done, a lot better than the 4th and 5th one.
It's a very good fantasy/family movie.
