"Not as good as the First two..." This was great, but I didn't like it as much as the first two. Nick Stahl was an awesome John Connor, and the Terminator returned though and the Terminatrix was cool.

Absolutely the best of all Terminator films ! One again filled with Schwarznegger humor and loads of action. I sincerely hope the sequel won't be a total fail...

I thought it was another terminator classic with even better special effects. I hope someone beats out Arnie for governor so we can continue the saga.

Well, it took over ten years, but the third Terminator flick finally came out. Much to everybody's disappointment, however, this one does not have Jim Cameron heading it up. This led a lot of people (myself included) to fear for its quality....

Well, it took over ten years, but the third Terminator flick finally came out. Much to everybody's disappointment, however, this one does not have Jim Cameron heading it up. This led a lot of people (myself included) to fear for its quality. Although I can say that I really don't think it was as good as it could've been had it been in Jim's proven hands, it was actually pretty decent.
It's been ten years and Sarah Connor is dead, her son John depressed and living like a hermit. Judgement Day came and went without any war. As we soon find out, however, the nuclear holocost was merely delayed. The machines from the future, not being able to find John, attempt to send yet another Terminator back to eliminate his best generals. Of course, Arnold is back to protect the world's savior, resulting in more destruction of public property than you've likely seen in any film in a long time.
As I said, this movie does not seem to have Jim Cameron's usual polish. The musical score sounds vaguely like the dramatic, fearful tunes that worked so well in T2, but there's just something missing. Also, while the scriptwriters have taken care to make sure the details of the plot fit fairly well with what we already know, there are a few things that don't quite make sense.
One of the most anticipated parts of this movie are the new T-X. A female terminator played by gorgeous Kristanna Loken, she is the next generation of terminator. She's not quite the leap that the T-1000 was over the T-800, but she still has some cool new tricks up her metallic sleeve. And although not as stone-faced scary as Robert Patrick in T2, she pulls off the look pretty well.
So while the third installment is in no means up to the standard set by the last film, it does retain enough familiarity and ILM wizardry to please die-hard terminator fans. Critics are probably going to trash it, but they hate everything nowadays, don't they? I think that if you go in knowing you are not going to see an exceptionally worthy sequel, you can enjoy it. It is a better follow up than Jurassic Park 3 was. There are several referances and little winks to the last terminator movie for people who pay attention. Arnold is really the only familiar member of the cast (coaxed by $30 million). Here's hoping that the next time around Jim Cameron will take his rightful place in the franchise. There currantly are no definate plans for another one but if this film does well it wouldn't surprise me. T-3 does not end how you think it will and any future films will probably be very different. We're dealing with time-travel though, so I guess anything's possible.

Terminator 3 was good movie but it was not as good as the first two movies they were the best by far. It had some good action, good story and good actoring but it is still a good movie.

Here, at long last, is a summer movie -- like its precursors in the Terminator canon -- worth its weight in cybernetic organisms.
