A man known by just Deeds, is going to New York to get his fortune and leave. When he gets there, he befriends his servant, Emilio, and also "rescues" a woman who is supposedly molested, and Her name is Babe Bennett, a news reporter from Inside Access. That's not what she tells him. She says she is a virgin school nurse called Pam Dawson from Winchestertonfieldville, Iowa. Well, Deeds seems to love her. After going to a restaraunt and reciting a poem he made for a mother's day card, he is made fun of by some of the men who work at Blake Media. He says,"If it weren't for Miss Dawson here, I'd knock your heads in." Of course, Trying to get the scoop, she says,"Oh, I don't mind." So, after a savage attack from Deeds, who gets drunk, and starts throwing eggs at people's cars, wakes up to find Emilio at the end of the bed. When Deeds goes and sits on the couch, he shows Emilio his frostbitten foot, and tells him he can hit it and he couldn't feel it. And after stabbing his foot with the fire-poker, Deeds screams, "Oh, how could you?! Your sick- I'm just kiddin' ya pal." That night, after Deeds takes Babe up to her apartment building, He gives her a card. She reads it, and is upset with herself that she is hurting him all for some stupid news story. When he leaves, she bursts out crying like her cat died. When Deeds finds out what is going on, he donates his fortune to the United Neigro College Fund, and goes back to New Hampshire. After a fight with Deeds' friend, Jan, Babe accidently falls into a somewhat frozen lake, and is rescues by Deeds' frostbitten foot. Babe goes back to New York. Just as Chuck Cedar is about to end Blake Media, Both Deeds and Babe come and Babe reveals that the $40,000,000,000 is really Emilio's and that Emilio is Preston Blake's SON, which is more closely related to him. Emilio fires Cedar, and Babe and Deeds get married. Back in New Hampshire, Deeds recieves a letter telling him that Hallmark wants to buy one of his greeting cards--the one he wrote for Babe.
