I went to see this movie because one of my buddies said that one of his neighbors was in it. I guess in our own way it was the six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but none of are as attractive or talented as Mr. B. This movie is simply a movie about some kids, left home alone for a few days, uncovering the gateway to Hades. They fight, they struggle and they slaughter hordes of tiny creatures, that in some weird way reminded me of gremlins, almost to stupid to be dangerous, but then again, their fighting a group of teenagers, they can't hardly be Hannibal, now can they?
If you like campy horror films without the R rating, ie. Nudity and cursing, then you'll be interested in this movie.
I on the other, hand saw it in the movie theater twenty years ago and that was enough for me (truth is I've seen in on cable a few times since, but shhh don't tell anyone). And no...the friend of a friend wasn't even in it. Go figure.
Half a star, because, well some one has too, that's what makes the godfather so much better. Thank you for being at the bottom so the top can be so high.
