This was a great M. Night movie.I love the story and the special effects are amazing.It was suspenseful and scary.The opening credits are very scary also.Its sad and exciting.This was a great scary film.

A great suspenseful story that is one of the scariest Shyamalan movies, with Unbreakable, still being very good, wasn't exactly a scary movie and The Village not being that scary either, Signs is one of the best. With its twists and turns that you would never expect from an average scary movie. That's why this movie is not avearge. The music and the photography add to the scariness and Shyamalan's directing is superb. Rating: very good.

A horror movie that scared the crap out of me even though it could have had more action in it. I thought it had good acting and great suspense. I would recommend watching this movie.

By far one of the scaries movies i have ever seen. This movie gives me faith that M. Night Shyamalan can make great movies despite his recent failures (lady in the water, village, etc)

SIGNS was one of the best movies I've seen so far, or probably it is the best. I have an interest in learning about alien civilization, is there life on other planets, etc. This movie was interesting as it showed us what is probably the views of M. Night Shyamalan on this subject.

I thought it was odd how those aliens were injured by the touch of water when actually our oxygen contains a small percentage of water. Maybe they should have said they get injured by a large percentage of water but no one knew that and no one really cares about that.

I love how Morgan could hear the aliens on a walkie-talkie and everyone went on top of the vehicle to listen. It really frightened me and I never want to hear that sound again or I will grow insane.

When every channel on the television showed the same news report on UFOs and everyone hiding really made me think about the end of the world, also, it reminded me of Hurricane Katrina when I had to stay away from the window because a whole group of people were breaking in a store across the street of my home and looting.

The scene where they showed a "recording" of children screaming because there was an alien outside hiding from the bushes at someone's birthday party really freaked me out.

I think this movie was a great film and I'm almost too scared to watch it again. But it was a very great film and I recommend it if you have an interest in viewing horror films.

M. Night Shyamalan is a master storyteller, and his twists are amongst the best in the business, and he doesn't disappoint in this genuinely scary thriller. I was captivated from the beginning to end.

With this movie, M. Night Shayamalan continues his struggle to once again strike gold as he did with The Sixth Sense. After the relatively disappointing Unbreakable, he has yet to regain the critical acclaim he once had. What drew me in to this movie was the premise of those mysterious crop circles. Despite being constantly revealed as hoaxes, they continue to fascinate and intrigue me. Like other Shayamalan films, this one starts out slow and remains slow, constantly leaving you expectant. Although obviously not the high point of Mel Gibson's career, the star is very enthusiastic about the movie, calling it one of the best he's ever seen. Gibson plays a farmer and retired Priest who has rejected his faith after his wife was killed in car accident 6 months ago. Now a broken man left to care for his two kids and brother all by himself, he finds a huge crop circle in his farm. Gibson shrugs it off as the work of local trouble makers. Continued news coverage of crop circles across the world, however, causes his kids and brother to become swept up in the growing panic of it all. The result is an Independance Day-like fear of being invaded. Gibson refuses to play along until he finds one trapped in a neighbor's storage room, and only then joins the rest of his family in the invasion preperations. This film is a little different than other Shayamalan works in that there are lot of subtle comedic moments. So many that sometimes it almost makes it hard to take the mysterious plot seriously. At first it seems like the movie will end with a very mild climax, focusing on this family with very little connection to the rest of the world, except for the TV, which is locked on continuing news coverage of the state of the world. It does pick up in the last few minutes however, and ties things up nicely. I would suggest waiting for rental, as Signs is slow and mysterious throughout. Due to the fixed focus of this family and and their farmhouse, it left me wanting more most of the time. Although I think the subject of crop circles is very interesting, this film just doesn't seem to do a whole lot with it, staying quiet and suspenseful. Hoaxes or not, there is still the X-Files fan in me that can't help but think to myself, "What if they're something more?"

I suffered from a case of U.E.S. (Unfulfilled Expectations Syndrome) after watching this movie. It had its moments. I just thought it would have been better.
