I really liked this film. Lestat was so lonely and he just wanted to have somebody in his life... I found this really facinating. The idea for two grandparents for all vampires was interesting. It's like in the Bible - Adam and Eve but here they are immortal(almost) and one day Eve decided to get herself a new Adam... Actually we see the traditional war between the good and the evil but the most of it is in the heart of a vampire who betrayed all of the vampire's laws. He have to choose between the love with the mortal girl and the power which Akasha could give him. Will the world live or die? An epic battle reduced to a single choice of a single creature... Amazing!:)

Although the Interview with the Vampire was great this movie is equally better. Townsend does a better job.

I'm a fan of the books and the movie Interview with the Vampire, and this is something anyone involved with the making of this movie should be ashamed of. Acting, horrible. Cast, horrible (don't fit the characters). And they really did a great job...
