An unpleasant look at a group of people from New York's Greenwich Village and their struggles with their past as radicals in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They grow increasingly dependent on each other, turn to dishonorable jobs (arson for hire seems to be a popular one), and wind up in empty relationships with other failed radicals. The film may be realistic, but the characters on the screen are so unlikable that the film is torturous to sit through.
