    On the page of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, it says that the rating is "R". Why is it rated "R"? It was always my understanding that all of these were rated "PG". At most, it could only be rated "PG-13". I see no reason why it would be rated "R". What do you think? Have any of you actually seen it rated "R"?

    This movies rating is actually PG. R was what it was actually supposed to be because of the guys head exploding so thats why they added the fire in his face. But it is PG.

    Definitely PG.  The sequel, Temple of Doom, was one of the films that led to the the PG-13 rating.  Crusade was the only film of the series to be rated PG13, that is until the new film comes out.
