Two years after their best well known work, at the time, Denis Leary (The Ref) and Sandra Bullock (Speed), star in this unfunny comedy about an art thief. Leary stars as the art thief, Bullock plays his girlfriend. After evading the police in a what is possible the worst chase scene ever, and fleeing the cops from a train station, the couple hide away at a house, their relationship begins to unravel, as Bullock's character begins falling for the man who lives nearby the house they are hiding out in. This movie is not funny, it's disappointing since this is Leary's first major project since The Ref, which is a personal favorite of mine, and his stand-up is very good. He disappoints with his writing in this very much. The only positive part of the film is Yaphet Kotto, who is very good in his limited screen time, the movie could have been better if they focused less on the budding relationship between Bullock's and Stephen Dillane's character, if they just gave half of that screen time Kotto's character, it could have been a somewhat enjoyable film. Overall Score: 6/10, F for Failure, on a 10-Point scale. Pass on this movie.
