Very dated for the time, I also saw this film on the big screen at it's original release. Then, it was quite intriguing and unique, as far as a plot goes it's very typical for the present since there have been many films depicting a society gone wrong and the freeing of them(Running Man, V For Vebdetta, Rollerball, etc...). But for the genre type and content Logans Run was a head of it's time and you may say it was the fore runner of that particular type of film the only film before it was HG Wells Things To Come and that was way aheand of it's time. Logans Run is still entertaining regardless of it's dated filmography and script and it's fun to watch the actors in their 70's look. My god did we really look like that. If you've never seen this movie I suggest it if only for it's historical value and premiss. It ranks up ther ewith Barbarella as a fun if not funny look in to the past of movie making.
