I am not much of a fan of Horror Movies, but this one captures my attention 100%. I especially love the dry comedy in it.

'House of 1000 Corpses' is all glitz and glamour. A horror movie that can talk the talk but cannot walk the walk. It's a bit of silly horror fun that, surprisingly, isn't all that fun. It's not particularly interesting, the plot is entirely unoriginal, and it's only occasionally funny. It's weird for the sake of weird, and just by acknowledging this film's cover art or film title alone anyone expecting an exceptionally-written modern horror masterpiece out of this film should not really deserve to watch exceptionally-written modern horror masterpieces.

Arguably Rob Zombie's weakest film, although you have to start somewhere. I, on the other hand, probably would have started somewhere else.

Its actually one of my favorite movies, I know a lot of people doesnt understand rob zombies work, why?, you should have to see every single movie he made, it is different from another styles of horror, coz its like a movie that makes you enjoy a film with black humor, blood and fun. and most of all good music!, rob zombie have a good taste in music we have to admit it. and good taste in horror, its like the follower of a lot of styles, a new original vision.

Uninspired and unoriginal bastardization of Texas Chainsaw 2 shot like a bad music video... there were a couple of good scenes, but overall this movie was just derived drivel and is an example of what's wrong with the horror genre post 2000.

This parody of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is surprisingly well made. The original was a low budget masterpiece in horror, and Rob Zombie was faithful to the concept and look of the original, while giving it some unique twists of his own.

The gore is slightly cartoonish, and the acting is very over the top, and not that scary. As a parody it works. As a horror film in it's own right, not so much. Worth a look if you enjoy Rob Zombie films or The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
