Rather then finding himself a hero for seeing to it that a big Hong Kong drug baron was jailed, police detective Ka Kui finds himslf demoted to traffic duty. While his complicated life with May continues to distract him, he learns that Mr Ko, the drugs baron has been freed from jail due to ill health. If that was'nt enough, May is kidnapped in order to force him to aid a group that are bombing the city in the attempt to extort money from socities rich.
