This movie (in my opinion) is better than the rest of them. I'm not really a fan of the Austin Powers movies but this one is one of them that I really like. This movie is worth watching and it's worth your time and money. I'd recommend this movie.

This is another summer sequel that already has it's fan base pre-installed. Basically, if you liked the first two outings than you will enjoy this third comedy, and if you hated the previous films, you will likewise find little to love about this one. In continuing the line of James Bond spoofs, this movie includes even more mindless comedy that requires llttle brain activity to enjoy. The world of Austin Powers and Dr. Evil is immediately recognizable and familiar, complete with jokes both old and new. This time, Dr. Evil uses his "time machine" to travel back in time and bring back Goldmember, a weird, Dutch-accented villian who kidnaps Austin's father and helps Dr. Evil construct a space laser to once again cause mass destruction. The feud between Dr. Evil's son Scott and Mini-Me continues as well, causing Mini-Me to switch sides from bad to good. There is also a few twists this time around including a surprise ending that will have a serious impact on any possible sequels. Also noteworthy is a funny Austin Powers movie spoof that kicks the movie off with several guest stars. Most of the filler though, is just more (admittedly side-splitting) toilet humor, with a bit too many flashbacks and musical numbers. The appeal of these films, however, has always been the strength of the characters, not the plot, and to fans of the series, toilet humor is just fine. There is plenty of what people loved about the first two movies. Micheal Myers continues to play more and more parts, Eddie Murphy style, as the total number of characters he plays jumps to 4 or 5. He dons a fat-suit again to reprise the hilarious role of Fat Bastard and also the new villian Goldmember. Dr. Evil it seems, is just as popular as Austin Powers, if not more so, and it leaves me wondering if Hollywood is ever going to give him a movie of his own. As bad of an idea as that may be, I wouldn't be surprised, the way they like to milk a series with spin-offs and never-ending sequels.

Austin Powers in Goldmember brings back Austin in yet again some pretty funny instances. The opening spoof scene was a great addition to put in which made it at first seem like a high-budget action movie. When the real opening occurs, it once again reminds you that Austin Powers is back and ready for more. The whole dancing routine and the way that Austin does stuff never gets old for me.

Whether it be at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the film - it leaves you chuckling throughout. The way the characters are stereotyped, dressed and such adds to the humour of Austin Powers in Goldmember. Many of the scenes are easily memorable because of their uniqueness brought to you by Mike Myers.

The film focuses on Goldmember which clearly takes inspiration from Goldfinger from James Bond. The hilarity created from this character and many of the others always wants me to watch this film another time and another time. Each and every scene is carefully done to guarantee you to laugh and although it's bizarre - it certainly works well.

Austin Powers in Goldmember is a great addition to the franchise which brings you some great stars including Mike Myers, Beyonce Knowles, Seth Green, Michael York, Michael Caine and many more. Worth watching for the crazyiness and laughs.

Just the fact that Beyonce was in it explains why there was not an ounce of me that found this movie enjoyable. Sure I had the normal laughs but at the end of it the storyline wasn't so strong.

Beyonce does a passable job, but she sure isn't Elizabeth Hurley, and sadly not even Heather Graham. There are some funny parts, but it's not better than The Spy Who Shagged Me.
