John Prudhomme is a New Orleans cop transplanted to the big city, and he and his partner are assigned to work a case where victims are being found missing only certain body parts. Despite having turned his back on God after the death of his son, Prudhomme cannot put his Catholicism behind him as he begins to investigate these crimes, and soon figures out what the killer is after, but if he doesn't find out who the killer is, he may lose everything left that matters to him.
