Ever since I first saw Monty Python and the Holy Grail on a VHS player at age 11, I have always been a huge fan of Monty Python's work. I have the entire DVD box set of Flying Circus. But it wasn't until recently that I've seen what could be their best work: Life of Brian.

This film is a great send-up of organized religion and Hollywood religious epics that works on many levels. It seems incredibly true to how I think that Jesus (if he even existed) would have lived. Hell, if Jesus suddenly came back to rent this movie from Blockbuster, he'd be laughing until it hurt.

Then again, I am an atheist, so that helps make it funnier to me.

Anyway, I recommend that everyone who likes a good laugh see this movie.

Another superb British comedy by Monty Python. For me, it's even better for the Grail. A must see for everyone, who enjoys a good laugh

Monty Python in my opinion are a perfect example of British humor..at it's finest! I first saw this movie when I was 5 or 6, with my dad. He loved Monty Python so all we would watch was Holy Grail, Life of Brian and Flying Circus. All of the Pythonians put on an excellent performance in this film. How can you not love a movie that makes fun of the begining of religion? The writing, the acting! I wish more movie producers would come up with stuff like this. WATCH this movie! It will change your opinion on some things, or just make you laugh your butt off!

Life Of Brian is one of Monty Pythons best movies. John Cleese delivers a great acting preformance. The script is awsome but it doesn`t have sutch a great story.

Perhaps not as good as the holy grail, The Life of Brian was certainly one of those quotble films. I loved how the python boys took a different perspective on religion and "always looked on the bright side of life and death"

Monty Python gives us satire about false prophets and messiahs rather than Jesus himself. This movie is probably one of the funniest I've ever seen, and its direction and acting looks a little bit better than Holy Grail. Chapman, Cleese, Jones, Palin, Idle, and Gilliam are true geniuses and they put out so much effort to make us laugh that they eventually manage to do it correctly. This is great humor, and the final scene... priceless.
