Synopsis: In this sequel of sorts to the original movie, a now-mortal Connor MacLeod has used his finances to fund a anti-ozone hole shield that ends up screening out most of the sun's rays from hitting Earth, plunging it into a global depression. Meanwhile, we discover that MacLeod is actually from the planet Zeist (the "Distant Past" in the Director's Cut), and he and Ramirez were exiled to Earth (making themselves Immortal) for leading a rebellion. Now General Katana, the tyrannical ruler of the planet, wants MacLeod dead. After sending two lackeys to Earth (whose presence restore MacLeod's immortality and youth), Katana travels to Earth (or the future, in the DC) to first form an alliance with the evil Corporation who wants to see the Shield maintained, and second defeat MacLeod. Only with the aid of his resurrected mentor Ramirez and new girlfriend Louise Marcus can Connor bring down the Shield and defeat Katana. (Note: this movie is ignored by all subsequent movies and TV series, as well as most fans of the entire series.)
