Victor Bukowski, an out of work actor is desperate to get back with his ex girlfriend Sylvia. Victor regrets losing Sylvia when he had an affair with an actress and now Sylvia is about to marry Dave Summers. One night he goes to bar and tells Diane the woman serving behind the bar all about the relationship he had with Sylvia. When Victor is ready to leave it is raining outside, so Diane gives him an umbrella. Drunk, Victor falls into a rubbish skip where he is found by two mysterious bin men. The two men take him back to their rubbish dump. They talk to Victor and then blindfold him and spin him around. When Victor takes the blind fold off he finds himself at the Notting Hill Carnival and realises he has gone back in time to when he was still with Sylvia. This time will Victor be able to change what happens to their relationship?
