"A very fun and stylish outing."

I watched this film expecting extremely cheap trash, and the cheap cover art did nothing but reinforce that. But by the time the film was over, I could not have been more surprised. It stars Hugh Grant in one of his early roles - but unfortunately, his performance is the same as anything else he's ever done, so I wouldn't get too excited. This is a well-made, hard-working horror film that has some really quite artistically done and shot scenes.

This film's plot is totally silly nonsense - but in a good way. The plot, like the special effects, is intentionally bad. It's fun. It's not terribly bland and boring nonsense that's impossible to enjoy in any way, it's just a bit of fun that instead of laughing at it, you just enjoy it.
