FLASH.....AHHHHHHHHH...he saved every one of us! What an awesome movie. It has a little bit of everything. It has 80's cheese, an awesome story and one of the best soundtracks in movie history. For a movie that doesn't take it self too seriously this movie is near the top of my favorite movies of all time. From the rock charged action to the over the top expressions to the classic one liners this movie is the epitome of 80's movies and one that I wish they had made a sequel to. When you think of 80's science fiction movies you think of Flash Gordon, Aliens and a Star Wars movie or two. This movie is a definite buy on DVD!

Aaaa yes, the 80 cheese, let it flow all over me. Let's face it, this isn't a great movie, but it's more fun then redoing old fashion movie serial's stile into a full film.

I just found out they are doing a TV series on cable and it had me thinking of the movie. I loved the soundtrack made by Queen. The heavy guitars were awesome. The movie itself was kind of dorky, but you can see that in the originals as well. When Tim started as Bond, I thought of him here. I became aware of Max here too. I thought the acting was fine. Definitely sex appeal happening. It had the "B" movie feel, but had a lot of flash to it (hehe). I was 13 when this came out. It might be dated now, but definitely geared toward the teen crowd of the time.
