This movie was based on the novel by H. G. Wells. Alexander Hartdegen is an usual chemist and teacher who loves his job very much. One day he decides to propose his girlfriend Emma to marry him, but their happines has been disturbed when one man robbs them and kills Emma. After that sad incident, Alexander does not cares for anything anymore. He spends all of his time counting and making formulas, so one day he bilds a real time machine. With the help of that time machine, he returns back in time and does all of things different, but Emma dies in other way. Soon Alexander finds out that it was her destiny to die and that nothing can't change her destiny. So, one day when Alexander falls asleep in his time machine he turns it on unconscious and the time machine return him far far away in the time where he meets Mara (Samatha Mumba), a young female girl who tells him all about what's happening in their time. After he finds out that two nations are in war, he decides to stay and help Mara and her people to stay alive…
