A series of vignettes and daydreams, all with that distinctive sense of 50s "naughty" - it either appeals or it doesn't. The same is true of Marilyn, who's character strikes the requisite balance of stupid and naive that passes for sexy when the physical package is right for the time.

The psychology is just too broad for me in this one, the stereotypes just not engaging enough. My favorite part might be the referral to "coaxial cable" as a medium for spreading rumors. I ended up looking for these kind of things because the characters are awfully cartoonish.

A lot of Wilder was supposedly "cutting edge" for its time, and of course, that makes it all the more dated. In the case of Billy Wilder, he did have bigger fish to fry on the silver screen.
