A good classic. Not my favorite, but still good. Doris Day is great in this movie, and the part where she loses her mermaid costume in the water is very funny.

A sweet enough movie in lots of ways, but dated in a way that 60s movies can be but 40s movies don't ever seem to be (in my opinion, of course). The plot is completely over-the-top, but that is intentional. Doris Day sings "Que Sera...
