The movie is substantial!! This is not a war movie, about it's training you for war. How many could go to war unprepared? No, this is a story that women have been fighting for generations. Cultures of the past only look at how great the man was, but he had to have his little woman at home takin care of the kids, cooking, cleaning, and all that **** Some women are forced stand long side her man looking pretty so that he looks good. Guys will say your not being discriminated against. Open your eyes. Men look at women as sex symbols. St. Jerome, a 4th-century Latin father of the Christian church, said a "woman is the gate of the devil, the path of wickedness, the sting of the serpent, in a word a perilous object." The world has discriminated people in every way possible, from origin, race, creed, social status, religion, sexual orientation, and gender.

Men think there are things women can't do; they don't have the physical stamina for it. during the film, Demi Moore said "the more everybody **** with me, the more I wanna gut it out." That is so fucking true! The more you tell women they can't do this, women aren't strong enough, or efficient enough the more you piss us off and women will fight that much harder. People say women are too emotional--that can be a flaw at times, but it can also be a powerful weapon that drives them that extra distance.

Now, as for calling a car, or a ship "she," or "her" personally, I am far from being offended. But, no man has any right to call a woman his "bitch."

Earlier in the film Master Chief made the comment he pulled a 250 lb man out of a burning tank, receiving the medal of Honor. He realized what Demi did. Going in, under fire, and pulled him past their mark to blow it. With that said the ending was perfect! He gave her his medal for saving his own life. This tells me that he no longer thinks of Demi as just a woman, but he respects her as an officer in the U.S. Navy.

I had to rip this film because it was not what I expected. Plain and simple, "G.I. Jane" did not deliver mainly because the story was somehow boring. The story seemed refreshing, but all you had was a lot of talk and not much action.
