Viktor Taransky is a Hollywood director who just can't deal with the fact that actors are more important then the directors are these days. Top it off with the fact that he's just been fired by his producer, and ex-wife. He thinks his luck's run out until he meets computer genius Hank Alena, who tells Viktor that he's created the perfect actress. One who exists inside a computer. Viktor inserts the digitized Simone into his latest movie, and a star is born. Flash forward a couple years, Simone has become the next big thing. Viktor goes to great lengths to prove that Simone is real, even though no one has actually ever met her in person. But soon, the creation becomes more powerful then the creator. And Viktor soon finds that something that only he himself was in control of is now out of his control.
