Such a great movie. Well told. I love Dennis Quaid. I love when his players make the bet with him and then when he takes his kids to tryouts. A feel good movie from start to finish.

True stories are the best!! I love to hear how someone faced a situation, how everything was against their success and yet they made it! Dennis Quaid did a fantastic job portraying Jim Morris.

Jim Morris said he wanted people to walk away thinking "Well, if I get a second opportunity at something, I should walk through that door." There are some of us that spend our life trying to reach our dreams and some of us never achieve them. Most times you only get one shot at fulfilling your dreams; I think if you get a second chance you should jump on board and not look back.

This film has really made me think of my dreams, what I want in life, and how far I am willing to go to achieve my dreams.

My question for those that read my review is this, are you willing to settle for what you have received and always question yourself, if I had worked harder, if tried this or that could I have made my dreams a reality? It's not worth winning if you don't have to fight for it. FIGHT FOR YOUR DREAMS!! NEVER GIVE UP!!

The best baseball movie since Feld of Dreams i relly liked the movie called the rookie it is a good movie with a good story and the over all veiw of the flim is relly good i give movie 3 1/2 stars

I thought "The Rookie" was a very well told true story and that is inspirational. There is not a whole lot you can so for the movie because it being well told and done. It has a great cast and director. A good movie to watch and enjoy...
