Very well done leading edge animation but misleading in titling. Audiences looking for a film version of the popular video console game franchise did not get that movie as the story did not deal with characters popular in the gaming franchise....

I loved this movie alot but Hollywood and Americans will not let it survive, the japanese should not try again, even if Japan made the best CG movie ever it will get bad reviews.

This movie fails miserably. It has nothing to do with Final Fantasy at all except for that Dr. Sid dude who's name is spelt wrong. It's Cid!! There's no Chocobos or Moogles in it whatsoever and the movie is very boring. The only good thing about...

Not as bad as it tries to be. Despite being as longwinded as it can be, it's still quite a nice story. Not up to par with what it's supposed to represent, but still. But most things Square started sucking around this time.
