Joe moves from Iowa to New York. After getting an apartment, very strangely I might add, he finds out he's not alone in it. The prior tenants, who happen to be 50,000 singing, dancing, wisecracking, roaches, are still there and don't plan on leaving. What bugs Joe is how these bugs keep messing up his chances with the lovely Lily, but after a while, they start helping instead of hurting.
