A movie that proceeds slowly and with care without being boring.

The characters are drawn with time and care, layers upon layers. They stay distant without it being recognizable.

What piques interest is that the came angles are very uncommon in a few places; they make one wonder if there is something going on, and at the same time create a new kind of focus on the scene and the people in it.

Altogether, "Unbreakable" has a nice mix of super hero and comic myths combined together with the actual plot; what first might seem ridiculous turns out possessing more depth that would be obvious. The opening titles and the first scene seem totally out of place, but in the end, they make very much sense.

Few nice twists during the movie carry it along, and there is almost a sense of discovery for both characters and viewers. "Unbreakable" is not obvious; far from it.

I liked the plot and the characters,but when he goes to that guys house.That is a little disturbing.Scary,great writing,and its a good M. Night movie,but not the best,I think the Sixth Sense was better.

My favorite Shyamalan movie. Filled with twists and turns and awesome scares that really do keep you pinned to your seat until the final surprising end. Scary, surprising, and just plain awesome!! Rating: Very, very good.

Night Shyamalan movie he has done so far, it was the only one in my opinion that did not have a predictable ending, i loved the whole comic book feel to it, specially the hero and his nemesis, i thought it was an awesome story, i loved the fact that Mr.glass was the man behind the whole thing, and all he was doing was trying to find his nemesis/opposite, as we find he has a disease and his bones shatter like glass when he just say knocks himself on anything, and David Dunn cannot be harmed, or has ever had anything wrong with him in his life! great plot and twists = Great Movie! =)

Absolutely the freshest, most original take on the superhero mythos that I have seen in a very long time. A fine script and very good acting make it an enjoyable movie, but Shyamalan's inventive camera work propels it above and beyond average. Not all of these unique camera techniques work, but the hits go further than the fouls. A hack like Spike Lee can be so derivitively artsy in ways that would embarrass Ed Wood and still get all of the accolades from myopic critics, while truly original works like this get scorned and panned...in such a world, we do need to believe in heroes, even if only for 107 minutes.
