Go see this movie, it is amazing. The story is simple, but extremely intriguing. I could watch this film over and over again. The acting isn't the best, that is the only thing that kept me from giving it the highest rating.

I think the writing is pretty clever most of the time. The so/so acting might take away from the story now and then but I think the character development is actually good (not everyone agrees on that point, btw). Also, the jury's still out for me on the ending. Its been done is all I'm gonna say - but if it never had been its a pretty good ending (someone I watched it with called the ending in the first 10 minutes).

That said, this is one of my favorite movies. For a small budget (and a small set), the effects of the mutilations are pretty gruesome and fantastic. Oh, did I mention its pretty gory? Very gory for a film that is all about human nature...I loved it...shhhh!

This movie was excellant. Not the best acting. The story and symbolism are outstanding though. Very underrated.

What like about this film is its simplicity. It puts six strangers in a booby trapped cubical chamber with no food or water. The six people must find away out of the chamber in a certain period of time by working together. Not only is the plot simplistic but so is the set of the film itself. This film was shot with a small budget and I'm almost sure they only used one or two sets (rooms) and changed its color when the characters move from room to room.

The down side of this film is the overall acting is satisfactory at best. However what disappointed me the most was the film's ending. The big question is left unanswered along with other smaller ones. The film does have a prequel and a sequel that attempts to answer some of these questions but both films (especially the sequel) are inferior to this one.

With all that said I still believe this film is worth watching.

The ending is questionable plot-wise, and a little stereotypical.

All-in-all a good watch for a Saturday afternoon.
