I, personally, am among the biggest fans of the original 'Texas Chain Saw Massacre' - I thought it was great. It was a brutal, terrifying horror masterpiece, and by default, I was sure to check out every one of its sequels. 'Chainsaw 2' was bad, 'Leatherface: Chainsaw 3' was decent, but nothing, and I mean nothing could prepare me for this utterly worthless, appalling, contemptible pile of trash. If it's not the worst excuse for a horror film I have ever seen. I, physically, cannot understand how anyone can give this movie a rating higher than half a star.

I'm not even going to explain the plot to this film, because I'm afraid it's just not worth yours or my precious time. I will however, tell you that Leatherface has literally been reduced to a chainsaw-wielding transvestite hippy with make-up. I had an ulterior motive for seeing this film. Most of you probably don't know, but it features Hollywood super-stars Renee Zellweger and mega-hunk Matthew McConaughey in pre-stardom roles. Not even them, or their extremely mild acting talent could possibly save this movie. It's incredibly boring, has terrible acting, has a pathetic plot, and what may be possibly the biggest letdown of all to horror fans, there isn't any gore. If you count demented violence and mayhem as gore, then I beg to differ, but I'm pretty sure I'm right on this. Usually right now I'd say that even if the film is terrible, it's at least worth renting it for the huge actors, right? Wrong. Don't buy this. Don't rent this. Don't even waste your time and precious bandwidth downloading this piece of crap.

Four notches down from the original and best. Sufferes from the tired idea, sequel syndrome. Not much to recommend this, although it does try and has a whole bunch of bizzare/Zany characters to introduce. I do not know why Renee Zellweger is doing...

Not much to recommend this, although it does try and has a whole bunch of bizzare/Zany characters to introduce. I do not know why Renee Zellweger is doing in this? Completely inappropriate! Still it just about tops the dire 2005 remake and Vilmer's remote controlled, mechanical leg is so cool. Gritty but not good enough.
