It's 1963 and 4 friends Verena von Stefan (Kirsten Dunst), Tinka Parker (Monica Keena), Maureen 'Momo' Haines (Merritt Wever), and Theresa 'Tweety' Goldberg (Heather Matarazzo) are attending an all girls boarding school. When new girl Odette 'Odie' Sinclair (Gabby Hoffmann) arrives the 4 girls take her under their wing. When the girls learn that their school is about to become co ed they revolt. The girls come with all kinds of ideas to stop the merging including spiking the punch at a co ed dance. Can these girls stop their beloved school from becoming co-ed?
