See Recap ILY, ILYN is teasingly labeled as "My So-Called Life" meets "The Diary of Ann Frank" because it is about a modern Jewish teenager understanding the plight of the Holocaust survivors, while her rich, snotty prep school friends torment her for being overly sensitive about what they consider ancient history. Also because Claires Daines played "Angela Chase" on MSCL and "Daisy" on ILY, ILYN. In many ways, the character Angela and Daisy are alike. They are both philosophical dreamers who are ridiculed by their friends for being intelligent, mature, educated, idealistic, cleaver and non-conformist. However, the big difference is that Angela is hip, street-smart and jaded. Daisy is innocent, sweet and child-like. -www.degrassi.ca
