This is an independent comedy film full of famous faces from film and television. The movie was a creation by "Crossing Jordan" star Jill Hennessy and film & television director, Elizabeth Holder. It takes place in an acting class full of misfits, including some mean people, maniacs, weirdos and a few normal ones too. "The Acting Class" is based loosely on reality, as the stories come from crazy experiences that actress Jill Hennessy has had on "the casting couch" and in various acting classes throughout her career. It also came from ideas and stories of both Elizabeth Holder and Ken Murton.
