Anyway, this movie has a few funny parts; when the black guy goes nuts, or when two characters are examining eachother's sex-scars. One thing near the end that Ben Afflect says is really funny. Jay and Silent Bob is always good for a laugh.

But... this movie goes really slow. It drags between funny parts, like a horse dragging it's tail through the mud. I'm sure in editing if they'd cut out all the crappy excess then the movie would be about 30 minutes, which would be better.

Also, Ben Aflect is sort-of annoying, and this is just one-of-those movies where you feel like kicking the star's a$$ if he doesn't learn to act soon. I'd suggest watch this movie once, but I don't recommend watching it again. It's allrite, but not excellent.

Kevin Smith's first straight forward movie, and he pulled off a good one, and that one him the Best Screenplay at the Independent Spirit Awards. The movie is fine, is it better than Clerks or Mallrats?...No, not by any stretch. It's good for what it is. Ben Affleck is good, but Joey Lauren Adams was great in in it (she got a Golden Globe nomination). It's different than Kevin Smith's previous films, and it works. 8/10.

I'm not sure how "Chasing Amy" was Kevin Smith's most critically acclaimed movie. It was funny, at times, and the script was sharp, but the story did seem a little tedious. Also, I felt the characters were a little undeveloped.

It was overall a good movie, and I do not think that it was very bad, some parts were good. I am not a particular fan of lesbian alike movies, since I think that it kind of... makes strange the general aspect of women (well at lesat some of them),...

I think that it was kind of good, and it was nothing boring. It had a good plot and a good cast too.
