The "Newcomers" are a race of aliens, bred as slaves who crash on earth with no way to leave. Slowly and grudgingly they are assimulated into our society taking normal jobs and human names. One such Newcomer is Samuel "George" Francisco, who is the first of his race to attain a Detective Badge. He is partnered with a racist Cop, Matt Sykes who blames newcomer drug-dealers for the death of his partner and friend Bill Tuggle. His hatred however is outweighed by his desire for vengeance and he figures that his new "partner" will be his in-road into a community that deaply dislikes and distrusts humans. Can they overcome their differences and their initial dislike of each other to bring down the drug gang repsonsable for the new hardcore alien drug that has hit the streets, before it tears both human and Newcomer connunitys alike apart?
