In my opinion, this was the worst of the best of the Friday the 13th movies. I don't like Jason Goes to H... at all. Jason X is okay, but not that great. There are some spoilers here. Tommy is back, and I'm kind of annoyed at that guy for being in 3 movies. Do we really need to see him back again?

Anyway, this is the first time we see kids at the camp along with the counselors. I wish they could have involved them more in this movie except for just that one girl later on in the movie. I'm kind of surprised that Jason didn't go after the kids because they made fun of him while he was younger (Not the same one), and thus you think he would take revenge on them along with the counselors. They could have showed the old clip of him drowning, and than make him actually go after the kids as revenge. In this movie, there are less camp counselors, and Jason is going after other people like people playing paintball, a graveyard person, and police.

I think his revenge on the kids should have been attempted. Maybe, he doesn't harm them because you have a camp counselor, and he's more mad at a camp counselors for naughty stuff, but if you have them in the movie, you might as well make them more known. I'm not against kids at all, but just saying how I think the story should have folded.

While the addition of humour to the film may come as a delight to some, I found it incredibly lame and unfunny and did nothing but distract me from actually laughing at how bad the film is. This film, and I really don't know how they managed this, is somehow even less funny then the rest of the series' films. Like those, 'Jason Lives' is still a stupid, lazy excuse for a movie that's getting worse rather than better. And fast.

Plot synopsis: Jason miraculously rises from the dead...again...after he was killed...if that's possible. The end.

I do not get this franchise's popularity. It's simply unbelievable. Why do people like these terrible, unintelligent, lazy, unnecessarily and gratuitously violent, and devoid-of-a-single-trace-of-artistic-intent piles of garbage? I guess I cannot control its popularity, but at least this review is a start. Don't watch this film. Please. The only 'Friday the 13th' film that is actually worth watching is the original, and even that was still a silly mediocre film. If you respect the horror genre, you will be doing it and yourself a great disjustice by giving this film money. And I realise by bashing it so much it may intrigue you to see it or at least see how bad it is, but it's just one of those films, and the rest of the 'Friday the 13th' moreso, that's not even worth seeing how crap it is because it's so bad at being a bad movie.

Overall, this is obviously the best sequel out of all the others in the friday the 13th franchise, and almost as good as part 1 (although part 1 will always be the best in my opinion).

Well, it's another Friday film, if you don't know what your walking into, then you're not going to come in the first place because let's face it, everyone does.

This is another standard one and is the final appearance Jason's long time problem, Tommy Jarvis where he probably had the best idea in trapping him in the lake, too bad he didn't count on a physic moving in next to the lake, but that's another film.

I in the end, another slasher flick, does nothing wrong, but nothing new.
